Manage HUC & W project scopes & activities from engineering to offshore completion

Onshore position in Esbjerg, Denmark

Normal office hours

Start date:  April 2022

End date: September 2023

Activitites

Activities:

• Participate in relevant training/information sessions for the wider organization, i.e., onboarding of contractors of offshore information sessions
• Responsible for compliance with HUC&W HSE activity plan
• Responsible for development of detailed Engineering Scope of Work for design contractor Execution
• Responsible for managing Design Contractor during design execution, including budget and Schedule follow up
• Responsible for performing Assurance activities to ensure quality of Design Contractor Deliverables is acceptable
• Responsible for securing that design contractor output provides the safest and most cost-efficient solution throughout the lifecycle of the facility/solution
• Responsible for ensuring that relevant 3rd party verification of design deliverables is performed
• Support procurement and fabrication activities, respond to technical queries
• Support the as-build process related to offshore HUC
• Responsible for initiating of procurement activities within HUC&W scope of Tyra Redevelopment Project
• Support offshore execution of planned activities (technical Queries, etc.)
• Responsible for project management of specific work scopes identified by HUC Engineering Support Manager
• Responsible for project management of minor multidiscipline projects < 5MMUSD
• Responsible for contract management of relevant work scopes

Context and environment

Tasks will be undertaken while working within the Tyra Redevelopment project. All activities are to be closely coordinated with     

other parts of the HUC&W team and Asset (Construction, Operations, Engineering, Subsea and risers, etc.) as well as the

wider project and Company organization.

• Internal : Tyra redevelopment teams ; Greenfield, Project Services, Wells, Operations ; Assets
• External : Design contractors, 3rd Party Verification vendor, Suppliers and external Specialist

Purpose

• Accountable for assuring that all engineering deliverables have the right level of quality and adhere to applicable      
• Company rules and Design Standards
• Accountable for timely delivery of engineering deliverables to support project maturation and execution

Background/Qualification/Experience required

The incumbent must have:

• Education: Engineering Degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) within relevant engineering discipline
• 10 years of experience within relevant engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry
• Experience with Project Management and Design Contractor Management
• Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Computer skills: MS Office (MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint), SAP, PIMS Mechanical Completion System, REVU Bluebeam PDF tool
• Good communication skills for internal and external relationships
• Autonomous, results oriented, accountable, and problem-solving capabilities
• Quality of persuasion, must be able to manage resistance to change
