Job and service dimension

• Onshore position, office premises in Esbjerg
• Normal office hours
• Start date: September 2022
• End date: September 2023 (1 year, possibility to extend for 2 more years)

Activitites

Scope of Work:

The job holder is a guarantor of safety engineering aspects related to modifications on the installations and a guarantor also of risk

analysis by playing a  key role in the follow up of the project performed in the affiliate. He has a  significant responsibility in multi-disciplinary and transverse teams, operation  and projects. He also coaches a junior safety engineer and will specifically supervise the integration of Majors Project in the affiliate with regards Safety Engineering matters.  

Background/Qualification/Experience required

• A bachelor’s degree in Process, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or other related discipline 
• At least 12 years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry, typically 5 to 7 years’ experience  in  operational  or  safety  engineering  position 
• Knowledge of onshore/offshore installations and Major hazard legislations 
• Thorough knowledge of design risk assessment and experience of organizing and chairing HAZOP, HAZID and other safety reviews
• Advance knowledge on PHAST (Process Safety) software  
• Proficiency in oral and written English. If possible, Danish.
