Job description

Working as a Consultant for Ce-Tec A/S at a Danish Oil & Gas Company.

Job and service dimension

  • Offshore position
  • Estimated start date: 01.01.2023
  • End date: minimum 1 year
  • 2/3 rotation with flexibility due to project timings and possibility for longer trips

As the offshore well services representative, ensure through direct supervision the safe delivery and efficient execution of all well  service and well maintenance related activities including coil tubing, pumping operations, wireline (eline and slickline), tractor operations and  wellhead maintenance.

 

Activitites

Scope of Work:

  • Offshore supervision of well services activities on manned and unmanned platforms including but not limited to: 
    • Coiled tubing operations, SSD shifting, conformance treatments and milling 
    • Slickline operations, SCSSSV reactivation and change out, logging and plug/CIV/GLV setting and recovery 
    • Eline operations, logging, tractor and perforating 
    • Pumping, acid washes and stimulation 
    • Well maintenance, scheduled preventative maintenance and scheduled and unscheduled repairs 
  • Interfacing with the platforms various departments to ensure the well services activities are planned and conducted with clear understanding and interaction. 
  • Updating the status of the ongoing operations to the relevant onshore and offshore parties.  
  • Managing and supervising permit requirements and associated documentation. 
  • Ensuring safe job analysis, risk assessments and toolbox talks etc. are being conducted and recorded 
  • Offshore focal point for the communication and reporting to the onshore team 
  • Ensuring management of change is implemented and administered correctly. 
  • Reporting of the intervention and maintenance activities in the companies daily reporting tool. 
  • Providing constructive input to well services related vendor and contractor performance 
  • Reporting in the Company’s tools on safety, non-conformance reporting and lessons learnt 
  • Available for onshore office-based duties as requested. 

 

Accountabilities/Purpose

  • Lead the well services contractors in the safe execution of programmed well service and maintenance operations. 
  • Additional accountability during walk to work (vessel based) well service and maintenance activities on satellite platforms. 
  • Provide mentoring and guidance when Trainee Well Service Supervisors are involved in the relevant activities. 
  • Ensure emergency response is in place for each operation under the well services supervision with clear understanding to all stakeholders 
  • Supervise operations as a Frontline Leader with regards to safety, behaviors and culture with all relevant parties.
  • Ensuring adherence to Company Rules, Standards, Processes, Procedures and Guidelines for the operations under their supervision. 
  • Conducting incident investigations as and when requested as part of an incident investigation team. 
  • Ensuring and checking all equipment related to the operation is within certification and fit for purpose. 
  • Ensuring the well handovers are conducted with production with a clear understanding of ownership and responsibility. are planned and conducted with clear understanding and interaction.

Background/Qualification/Experience required

  • Preferable graduate mechanical or chemical engineer 
  • 10 years of oil and gas experience 
  • Offshore experience in drilling and wells environment, necessary 
  • Onshore experience in drilling and wells, preferred 
  • Must meet the minimum offshore standard for travelling to offshore locations such as:  
    • A valid medical certificate by an approved and credited organisation.  
    • A valid OPITO BOSIET certificate  
    • A valid OPITO CA-EBS certificate  
  • Must have a valid a level 4 IWCF certificate by an approved and credited organisation. 
  • Proven safety and operational leadership skills  
  • Fluent in English - oral and written; preferably versatile in the Danish language and French language skills an advantage 
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills 
  • Knowledge of SAP, and reporting applications is beneficial 
  • Ability to create positive relationships with peers and internal/external stakeholders 
  • Positive attitude to challenges, change and personal development  
  • Ability to meet deadlines, priorities and be proactive
