Working as a Consulant for Ce-Tec A/S at the Customer's, the job description includes:

 

Job dimension:

The Gaslift onshore project team will besides E&I Engineer consist of Project Manager, Piping & Mechanical Engineer, Work Preparer

and E&I Engineer. All activities are to be closely coordinated with other parts of the project team as well as other member of the

Engineering and Construction department and the wider company organization.

The project execution is expected to have a duration of 1-1.5 years and with a total budget of 225 MMDKK. 

In undertaking this role, the job holder will act, by representation, in the best interest of the clients company at all times and adhere

to the values and principles of the Company Code of Conduct at all times.

 

Activities:

  • Provide general assistance and ad-hoc support to the project team 
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of the Gaslift project 
  • Handle contracts, design documentation, authorities and government document approvals  
  • Participate in meetings and preparation of Minutes of Meetings, Action tracker etc.   
  • Extract and compile economic status reports from SAP 
  • Coordinate offshore visits and support to external hook-up contractor 
  • Assist with general support to the Project Manager 
  • Create project completion reports and maintenance of project risk register 
  • Create Service orders in line with the project WBS 

 

Accountabilities/Purpose:

The key purpose of this position is to support the project team with ad hoc administrative tasks that are key to the project’s success.

The tasks will  typically be linked to the project controls, reporting and performance management. 

 

 

About you

  • Excellent communication skills and service minded approach 
  • Professional experience (in years): Minimum 5 years 
  • Skilled IT user of commercial and company software such as MS Office and preferable SAP and PIMS 
  • An understanding of project management and project control techniques, preferably experienced with working on offshore oil and gas projects. 
  • Language Preference: fluent in Danish language (written and spoken)

Activities:

  • As E/I Project engineer, facilitate and manage the electrical, instrumentation and telecom activities within the scope of Gaslift Project
  • Participate in relevant onboarding of contractors and offshore information sessions 
  • Participate in managing design contractor and hook-up contractor during execution  
  • Responsible for performing assurance activities to ensure the quality of Design Contractor Deliverables is acceptable 
  • Responsible for ensuring that all software (SCADA/ESD) is incorporated in the project 
  • Responsible for relevant Function Acceptance Tests (FAT) and QC are performed 
  • Responsible for ensuring relevant 3rd party verification of design deliverables Support procurement and fabrication activities and respond to technical queries 
  • Day to day support during offshore execution of planned activities (technical queries, etc.) 
  • Responsible for project management of specific work scopes  
  • Responsible for handling of mechanical completion of E&I scope and offshore commissioning 

 

Accountabilities/Purpose:

Accountable for assuring that all delivered and erected piping materials have the right level of quality and adhere to applicable

company rules  and Design Standards and accountable for timely execution and delivery of the E&I part of the project.   

 

 

About you

  • Education: Engineering Degree (B.Sc or M.Sc) within relevant engineering discipline 
  • 10 years of experience within relevant engineering discipline 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry 
  • Experience with Project Management and Design Contractor Management Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken) 
  • Computer skills: MS Office (MS Project, MS Excel and MS Word), SAP 
  • Good communication skills for internal and external relationships 
  • Autonomous, results oriented, accountable and problem solving capabilities 
  • Quality of persuasion, must be able to manage resistance to change 
  • Strong relational skills, listening and communication; Team spirit and concept of service.

  • Day to day support during offshore execution of planned activities 
  • Check the readiness of the activities from material and tool perspective (QC), and confirm it is fit for purpose
  • Participate in the coordination of deployment of the tools and materials at the correct working location 
  • Confirm the availability of the vendors and contractors 
  • Hold the frozen schedule and anticipate in the next weeks’ preparation 
  • Liaise with the planners and updates as required 

 

Accountabilities/Purpose:

The key purpose of this position is to be a member of the gaslift project team and support the project team with assistance related

to the preparation and execution of the offshore hook-up. The tasks will typically be linked to the management and support to hook-

up contractor, status reporting, check of material status, job cards and permits. 

 

 

About you

  • Technical educational level and preferred practical offshore experience 
  • Able to QC technical items and specific tools 
  • Has a hands-on mentality and a good sense of organisation
  • Professional experience (in years): min. 5 years in Oil & Gas industry 
  • The ability to organize activities as per Client’s priorities 
  • Language Preference: fluent in Danish language (written and spoken)

  • Participate in the day to day management of the fabrication contractors and the hook-up contractor 
  • Management and handling of piping/mechanical designs within the project  
  • As piping/mechanical engineer responsible for all piping / mechanical jobs are carried out offshore according to design 
  • Together with the rest of the project team ensure that brownfield offshore hook-up contractor has the necessary job card descriptions to perform the job safely and effective at all times. 
  • Ensure procedures are correct for the given task. This by active involvement and by participating in the preparation of procedures. 
  • Validate planning of offshore construction work scope within Gaslift project to ensure optimal execution.
