Working as a Consultant for Ce-Tec A/S at a Danish Oil & Gas Company.

Activitites

As Well Service Engineer you will be working in the Well Services team, which is part of the Drilling and Wells group and involved in the full life cycle of Well Operations. This will include the design, planning, programming, and execution of safe and cost-efficient well intervention operations in close collaboration with the offshore Well Services frontline leaders and the HUC team. As part of the team, you will be expected to use your knowledge and experience to deliver a high level of performance as well as demonstrating good HSE leadership in both the Company and with our contracted service suppliers.

 

You will be a key player in driving HSE as well as other Key Performance Indicators (KPI’S) in accordance with Company, and Drilling and Wells objectives, promoting a safety culture with both onshore and offshore stakeholders.

 

These areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as:

  • Ensuring that health, safety, and environmental risks are assessed, and necessary measures taken to mitigate safety and health risks according to ALARP (As Low as Reasonably Practical) principle.
  • Be a part of the Asset team in delivering the re instatement of wellhead and Xmas trees and bringing the wells back online.
  • Deliver according to the SOR Well Delivery Process.
  • Conduct IWOP / readiness reviews.
  • Use of SAP for resource, equipment and finance requirements as expected.
  • Provide probabilistic time/cost estimation.
  • Ensure regulatory permits in place and followed.
  • Prepare and deliver the Well Service Programs in compliance with Company Rules, Procedures, industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure operational risks are assessed and necessary measures taken to mitigate operational risks with contingencies have been evaluated and implemented.
  • Identify new suppliers and new technology to aid optimizing well delivery and reducing well cost.
  • Ensure programs are technically validated, best technology selected, and lessons learned have been incorporated.
  • Ensure programs are issued ahead of execution and reviewed with platform management.
  • Check and ensure that offshore reporting including Non-Productive Time (NPT) is done correctly and adequately daily.
  • Ensure that rental equipment items are returned to contractors promptly.
  • Ensure lessons learnt are captured and included in the close-out-memo.
  • Track and QC daily cost, reporting and chemical usage.
  • Provide monthly accruals.
  • Participate in the Well Service duty Rota.Follow and implement the management of change process.
  • Provide feedback to contract owners on each contractor's performance for SQM.

 

 

Background/Qualification/Experience required

Your background:

  • Graduate Engineer in relevant technical discipline or recognized technical specialist.
  • 10 years successful industry experience in technical discipline.
  • Proven offshore intervention experience.
  • IWCF Well Control level 4.
  • Proficiency in oral and written English.
