Working as a Consultant for Ce-Tec A/S at a Danish Oil & Gas Company.

Reports to Northern Fields Reservoir Management Team Lead.

Job and service dimension

The successful applicant will work as part of the Northern Fields Reservoir Management team within the Asset/Subsurface department in oil company based in Esbjerg as Senior/Lead Reservoir Engineer.

He or she will provide base business support to operations, as well as specialist Reservoir Engineering and, in particular, Reservoir Simulation scope on several ongoing and planned studies & projects across several chalk and sandstone fields, operated by the oil company located in Danish North sea.

The position requires a very strong level of expertise in the area of reservoir simulation and overall proven track record of reservoir engineering skills in preferably operated environment

Background/Qualification/Experience required

• A Bachelor/Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering / Physics or similar. 
• Minimum 15-20 years experience in Oil & Gas industry with specialist knowledge in varios aspects of Reservoir Engineering with specialization in Reservoir Simulation.  
• Hands-on experience with PE/RE softaware is a requirement: Prosper, Saphir, PVTsim, Eclipse and IX (this will be required by work scope) 
• Experience working with Operator and working on integrated studies with focus on development optimization and infill drilling projects in mature fields 
• Experience with chalk reservoirs will provide competitive advantage 
• The ability to understand, explain and present to both technical and non-technical audiences (including Technical Assurance teams) in a persuasive and convincing manner.  
• Provide coaching to less experienced Reservoir Engineers in the team 
• Proficiency in oral and written English.
