Wind

Cetec Energy provides repair, service, retrofit, inspection and QA/QC for wind turbines - onshore and offshore.

Customised solutions for wind turbine repair and maintenance

Cetec Energy provides wind turbine repair, maintenance, retrofit, inspection and QA/QC services for onshore and offshore wind projects.

With more than 30 years of experience from the energy sector, we help operators and OEMs reduce downtime, extend the lifetime of critical components and get wind turbines back in operation quickly. Our work ranges from repair and retrofit to inspection, QA/QC and specialised solutions developed for specific challenges inside the turbine.

Optimisation of wind turbines and wind farms

Many years of service experience across industries and projects worldwide have shaped a strong team of field specialists supported by an experienced back office. Successful on-site work depends on practical planning, clear coordination and the right technical setup. back office, that makes it all run smoothly. Because to succeed on-site, you need to get the internship right.

We always think one step ahead and work to ensure optimal uptime across the entire wind farm. If we encounter a problem on one wind turbine, we develop a solution that can be implemented across the rest of the farm to prevent the problem from recurring in the future. This may involve, for example, bespoke retrofit solutions or preventive maintenance.

Solutions for wind

Cetec Energy supports operators and OEMs by adding specialised expertise, precision and capacity to wind projects – helping ensure that wind turbines operate safely, reliably and efficiently.

Yaw Ring Repair

Uptower repair of damaged teeth on the yaw ring – carried out using welding, reconstruction and documented quality control.

On-site repair of components

Our technicians are used to working in confined spaces and with high safety requirements.

This saves costly downtime and costs for cranes and specialised equipment when, for example, we repair gears without having to dismantle the entire wind turbine.

Our employees have welding experience across turbine types and challenges

Welding of on components such as base frames and installation of new structural components

Pitch Gear Repair

Specialised solutions with combined lifting and welding for access under installed components

Troubleshooting and repair of electrical installations

Inspection and service life extension

We inspect all types of wind turbines, components & structures.

Using modern NDT methods, we can assess the condition of wind turbines and identify potential problems before they occur. We take pride in solving inspection tasks without the need for dismantling and expensive equipment such as cranes and special lifting equipment.

Specialised solutions & services

Cetec Energy develops innovative solutions for the energy sector's complex tasks.

Specialised solutions that combine welding with NDT, rope access and lifting technology. These solutions are successful because our welders have a deep practical understanding of the metal and the requirements of welding, and can consult with our engineers.

Similarly, our electrical engineering competences enable us to deliver solutions that target the needs of the mill. We know how to adapt new equipment to existing equipment that may be twenty years old.

Quality assurance & monitoring tasks

One of Cetec Energy’s core competencies is quality assurance and quality control.

Our employees come with a broad professional background and practical experience that enables them to understand and handle complex tasks. You're not just a QA/QC expert, you're also an electrician, machinist or blacksmith, and you have solid practical experience. Several of our QCs are also rope access technicians and lifting experts. This is your guarantee of qualified advice, on-site problem solving and competent quality assurance.
