E-Learning & Certification

Customised electrical engineering courses that ensure high safety awareness and practical skills.

E-learning developed for the industry's highest demands

A key part of Cetec Energy's core business for more than 30 years has been providing courses for complex and highly regulated industrial environments. Through targeted e-learning and certification, we support safe behaviour, correct task performance and compliance with applicable requirements - developed based on the reality in which participants work.

E-learning - a modern approach to learning and certification

E-learning provides access to training and certification without disrupting daily operations. Courses can be completed independently of time and location, ensuring a consistent level of competence across teams and locations.

At the same time, e-learning supports documentation, traceability and compliance, making it easy to maintain and update competences in line with current requirements.

Duration: 45 minutes Validity: 1 year Grace Period: 3 months.

A basic understanding of electrical hazards and safe behaviour in electrical environments. The course covers risk understanding, protection methods, accessing and working in electrical spaces, as well as relevant procedures and company rules.

After completing the course, the participant receives a certificate via email and is automatically registered in the company's Electrical Competency Registration System (ECRS) as Instructed Person - non-electrical work (L0 and H0).

Duration: 7 hours Validity: 1 year Grace Period: 3 months.

A basic understanding of electrical risks in both low and high voltage environments. The course covers risk assessment, selection of correct control measures, key safety principles in EN 50110, as well as live working safety and applicable isolation procedures.

After completing the course, the participant receives a certificate via email and is automatically registered in the company's Electrical Competency Registration System (ECRS) as Instructed Person - non-electrical work (L0 and H0).

Courses developed in the oil & gas sector's most demanding environments

Cetec Energy has historically developed its courses based on the oil & gas sector, where the requirements for safety, documentation and correct execution are among the highest in the energy sector.

Through years of working with some of the market's most demanding operators, Cetec Energy has built up solid experience in meeting the strict standards and expectations of global players.

Proven learning concepts across the energy industry

Experience from the oil & gas sector forms the basis for courses designed for complex and risky work environments where correct behaviour and procedures are essential.

Today, the professional principles and learning concepts are widely transferable to other demanding parts of the energy sector. The experience gained in highly regulated environments makes it possible to support safety, compliance and technical understanding across the energy industry.

We have many years of experience in organising electrical safety courses in the offshore industry, combining a focus on legislation and practical experience.

With extensive technical knowledge of the environment in which we work and the guidelines that need to be followed, year after year we have helped ensure the necessary awareness of hazards, rules and procedures that are essential to ensure a high level of safety

Selected Case

Yaw Ring repair

The challenge

Damaged teeth on a slewing ring can quickly put a wind turbine out of action. Even minor damage leads to misalignment, increased stress on the drive system and, in the worst case, a complete shutdown. The common solution is to replace the entire slewing ring - a process that requires the use of a crane, longer downtime and significant spare parts costs.

The alternative

At Cetec Energy, we approach the problem differently. Our teams perform precision repairs up in the tower. With a specialised and proven swing ring repair procedure, the welding work is done up in the tower and the damaged teeth are rebuilt and restored without dismantling the nacelle.

The result

This method brings the workshop into the wind turbine. It's faster, far more cost-effective and extends the life of critical components. For operators, this means reduced downtime, controlled costs and turbines that are back in production within days - not weeks.
