Cetec Energy carried out an uptower structural retrofit as part of the repair of cracks in the bed frame. Uptower repair and installation as a solution to extend the structure’s service life.
The scope included NDT inspection and welding repairs to cracks in the bed frame, as well as the installation of a complete reinforcement solution on the load-bearing structure, with a focus on increasing stability, reducing the risk of recurring stress damage and establishing a documented basis for continued operation.
