Training & Competency Development

Customised electrical engineering courses that ensure high safety awareness and practical skills.

Courses and training designed for the industry's highest demands

A competent workforce is the foundation for safe and successful operations - especially in high-risk industries like oil & gas and offshore wind.

Our courses are designed to ensure that employees meet the safety and competence requirements that apply both broadly in the energy sector and specifically to each employee's tasks.

Whether onboarding new technicians or upskilling experienced engineers, our programmes provide employees with the knowledge and certifications required to perform their work safely and efficiently.

Courses and training designed for the industry's highest demands

A key part of Cetec Energy's core business for more than 30 years has been providing training for complex and highly regulated industrial environments.

Targeted course development and certification support safe behaviour, correct task performance and compliance with applicable requirements - developed based on the reality in which participants work.

We offer a versatile training portfolio that combines classical training with modern e-learning solutions, adapted to the practicalities of working both onshore and offshore.

Built on accountability, transparency and experience

All courses are developed and delivered by certified trainers with practical industry experience. This ensures that the training is not only technically correct, but also relevant and directly applicable in practice. Our course offerings include:

Customised
e-learning modules

Digital training programmes tailored to company-specific procedures, equipment and risk profiles that enable flexible and effective learning.

E-learning provides access to training and certification without disrupting daily operations. Courses can be completed independently of time and location, ensuring a consistent level of competence across teams and locations.

At the same time, e-learning supports documentation, traceability and compliance, making it easy to maintain and update competences in line with current requirements.

Smaller companies with max. 10 course participants (per year)

Ce-Tec Training handles the creation of course participants that you want to take Electrical Awareness Basic (e-learning) or Electrical Awareness Low and High Voltage (classroom).

Companies with more than 10 course participants (per year)

For companies with more than 11 course participants (per year), a specific company profile will be created in Ce-Tec Training, where you can register your employees and enrol them in Electrical Awareness Basic (e-learning) and Electrical Awareness Low and High Voltage (classroom).

Electrical engineering courses for demanding work environments

Contact us to find out how targeted e-learning programmes can ensure consistent competencies and high safety awareness without disrupting daily operations.

Courses developed in the oil & gas sector's most demanding environments

Cetec Energy has historically developed its courses based on the oil & gas sector, where the requirements for safety, documentation and correct execution are among the highest in the energy sector.

Through years of working with some of the market's most demanding operators, Cetec Energy has built up solid experience in meeting the strict standards and expectations of global players.

Proven learning concepts across the energy industry

Experience from the oil & gas sector forms the basis for courses designed for complex and risky work environments where correct behaviour and procedures are essential.

Today, the professional principles and learning concepts are widely transferable to other demanding parts of the energy sector. The experience gained in highly regulated environments makes it possible to support safety, compliance and technical understanding across the energy industry.

We have many years of experience in organising electrical safety courses in the offshore industry, combining a focus on legislation and practical experience.

With extensive technical knowledge of the environment in which we work and the guidelines that need to be followed, year after year we have helped ensure the necessary awareness of hazards, rules and procedures that are essential to ensure a high level of safety

Utilities

Experience from highly regulated environments enables us to support safety, compliance and technical understanding across the energy industry.

Based on this, our skilled and experienced instructors also develop and customise også courses for petrochemical plants and the utilities sector in general, where the requirements for safe operation, documentation and competency levels are also high.

Selected Case

Yaw Ring repair

The challenge

Damaged teeth on a slewing ring can quickly put a wind turbine out of action. Even minor damage leads to misalignment, increased stress on the drive system and, in the worst case, a complete shutdown. The common solution is to replace the entire slewing ring - a process that requires the use of a crane, longer downtime and significant spare parts costs.

The alternative

At Cetec Energy, we approach the problem differently. Our teams perform precision repairs up in the tower. With a specialised and proven swing ring repair procedure, the welding work is done up in the tower and the damaged teeth are rebuilt and restored without dismantling the nacelle.

The result

This method brings the workshop into the wind turbine. It's faster, far more cost-effective and extends the life of critical components. For operators, this means reduced downtime, controlled costs and turbines that are back in production within days - not weeks.
