Fault recovery and system upgrade were carried out after an earthing fault where missing detection had damaged the earthing resistor and created the need for fast recovery, technical analysis and updated protection settings.<\/p>\n

A fault relating to earthing went undetected, which damaged the earth resistance. Cetec Energy assisted with immediate restoration and carried out a comprehensive analysis of the system, including updates, training and recommendations to future-proof the system.<\/p>\n

We quickly assessed the impact of the fault and helped restore operations by adjusting key protection settings so that a safe start-up could take place without compromising fault detection.<\/p>\n

A detailed analysis of event logs and protection logic revealed missed detection paths and gaps in ground fault sensitivity.<\/p>\n

We provided updated settings, training and documentation to ensure system-wide awareness and better coordination in future failure scenarios.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
