  Activities

   Scope of Work:

  •  Organize and conduct monitoring programs to assess and report on the status of all HSE Issues  
  • Provide advice and assistance to offshore leadership team on all aspects of HSE concerning the scope of work to ensure that relevant health and safety legislation, company health and safety standards and industry practices are complied with  
  • Advise on the monitoring of all work activities on the sites, advise task supervisors on necessary risk control measures  
  • Verify that risks have been identified and appropriate mitigations are implemented  
  • Support site management in the investigation, recording and reporting of all incidents to identify causes and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence. Encourage to record all incidents and support analysis
  • Carry out permit to work and site compliance monitoring audits, assist, and coach others  
  • Promote a positive health, safety, and environmental culture at all levels of activities including those of contractors by developing and assisting Line Managers and Supervisors in the implementation of safety awareness programs. Report the effectiveness of such programs by conducting monitoring and auditing  
  • Provide HSE coaching and training where needed in the offshore organization
  • Ensure adequate and fit for purpose emergency response & lifesaving equipment is in place – enabling expected function and preparedness to an emergency or crisis situation  
  • Responsible for HSE performance monitoring as well as providing a true and fair picture of the HSE related risks, challenges, and mitigations in place
  • Support and where necessary facilitate offshore risk assessments related to HSE and providing HSE related training and coaching of personnel and vendors ensuring e.g., creation of good quality task risk assessments and toolbox talk quality
  • First point of contact on HSE related risks & challenges
  • Support and assure appropriate induction of personnel
  • Assisting incident investigations ensuring an objective outcome  
  • Be visible on the work site and ensure that controls in permit to work and task risk assessment are applied
  • Provide continuous and timely input on behavioural performance of personnel

 

Qualifications/Experience required

The incumbent must have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil and gas industry

• Strong HSE knowledge and experience, perhaps former or present safety representative

• Experience from audits and/or incident investigations

• Analytical and problem-solving attitude, strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Specific skills: Visibility, influential attitude, rigor, non-complacency, impeachability

  Activities

   Scope of Work:

• Assist the RSES in ensuring the HSE Management System is deployed and effective on Site

• Participate to all the work preparations when performed on Site

• For all the PtW, check hazard identifications and the mitigation measures

• Participate randomly to the TBT and the associated checks (PPE, isolations, postures, tools, risk mitigation effectiveness, …)

• Lead the various RCA, JRA, RA, KOM and other SIMOPS or DGS exercises when performed at Site

• Ensure that DGS, LTI, etc., mitigation measures are in place

• Lead the first investigation steps to any incident/accident, produce the Synergi reports as well as the Safety Alerts

• Hold the SafePass system at Site

 The jobholder:

As Campaign Site Lead in the Field Operation team, you will be able to shape and develop a central role with great influence in safe, timely and effective execution of campaign activities. This is with the possibility to continuously learn and develop your competencies in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of Campaign activity reporting and offshore work preparation on future campaign activities.
