Finance Business Analyst

Onshore, Esbjerg, Denmark

 

The job

Start date: ASAP.

As a consultant for Ce-Tec A/S, the position as Finance Business Analyst at the Customer includes:

  • Finance Business Partner and advisor for the Company’s Redevelopment Project, driving the Finance agenda and establishing cost- and budget ownership as well as a commercial mindset throughout the organization.
  • Facilitate and drive forecasting, budget, and long-term plan processes within the Redevelopment Project including appropriate challenge to cost and operational plans.
  • Verify month end results and engage the organization to perform variance and burn rate analysis based on business performance and activities.
  • Liaise with the organization and the Cost Control team to collate and prepare for VOWD estimates, ensuring validated Accruals shared with the Cost Team.
  • Provide financial understanding across PnL, Balance sheet and Inventory etc. to the organization.
  • Drive transparency and efficiency on G&A spend for all budget holders within the Redevelopment project to ensure appropriate reporting and management of costs internally and towards JV partners.
  • Understand and provide transparency to internal and external allocations impacting the Redevelopment project including Corporate charges, Logistics and employees.
  • Liaise with Economics, Controlling and Cost Controlling teams to understand financial impact on both equity and JV books as well as bridging between LTP, actuals and forecasts/budgets.
  • Maintain effective working relationship with JV partners ensuring accurate and timely information for JV reporting.
  • Financial advisor in relation to all investment approvals for the Redevelopment Project (Company and JV processes – letters, IP’s and AFE’s)
  • Support the development and benchmarking of project OPEX estimates.
  • Drive and support finance improvement projects including 3c

 

Goal/Purpose:

  • To act as the Finance focal point and advisor to the Redevelopment Project, driving the financial agenda in the leadership forums and securing budget- and cost ownerships throughout the organization.
  • Provides financial leadership, guidance and support on reporting, financial business performance as well as implementation and execution of financial strategies and priorities.
  • To provide comprehensive business analysis and support to achieve business goals by providing key business information and ensuring appropriate challenge is applied to forecasts, long term plans and financial decision.

 

About you

  • High caliber Qualified Finance professional with a proven track record and Oil & Gas Industry knowledge and experience.
  • Good accounting knowledge with ability to interpret, analyse and present financial data in a business context.
  • Very proficient with SAP.
  • Good business/commercial awareness and proven analytical skills to ensure value-add to the organisation.
  • Demonstrate high levels of attention to detail.
  • Ability to create positive relationships with peers and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Engaging personality with highly developed social and effective communication skills with the ability to present complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner.
  • Positive attitude to challenges, change and personal development – ability to operate in a fast- paced dynamic environment.
  • Ability to prioritize, act on own initiative and delegate effectively at the right level.
  • Ability to focus effort and effectively prioritize work to deliver business value.
  • Skills of influence – ability to constructively challenge and influence others at Board level.

Project Assistant

The job

Start date: ASAP (preferably May 3rd 2021)

As a consultant for Ce-Tec A/S, the position as Project Assistant at the Customer includes:

 

The jobholder:

Experienced project assistant / coordinator to support on various IT projects during 2021 working together with Project

Managers of already ongoing projects to provide support and help ensure strong coordination and overview of these

projects.

 

Tasks include:

Project coordination

  • Tracking of project status across all small projects within the team (5-10 projects, weekly team meeting)
  • Arrange project meetings, status meetings and secure action tracking, minutes of meeting and due follow-up.
  • Produce timely communication to stakeholders including project reporting
  • Follow-up with internal and external stakeholders (IT, business, vendors)

 

Project Management of smaller projects within team

  • Project Management of smaller projects (short duration, clear scope, low technical and business impact)
  • Follow-up during all project phases following the project management framework

 

Program support

  • Support Transformation Programme Manager on keeping the programme overview updated
  • Securing status and update communication to stakeholders.
  • Coordinating with PMO on project status.

 

About you:

  • Bachelor or master degree in IT, Business Administration or similar.
  • Experience as a project coordinator or assistant, but comfortable to also take on the role of Project Manager for smaller projects.
  • Experience of and ability to work in fast-paced environment, under pressured timelines and managing many simultaneous tasks.
  • Proactive and driven by nature, assuming responsibility and accountability for tasks.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills a must, with an approachable and collaborative attitude and ability to balance diplomacy with the needs of the project.
  • Team focused yet autonomous and a strong communicator at all levels.
  • Knowledge of IT projects and processes.
  • 5+ years experience from similar roles.

PMO Methods and Compliance Lead

As a consultant for Ce-Tec A/S, the position as PMO Methods and Compliance Lead includes:

 

Methods

  • Support the improvement of processes across the IT department.
  •  Ensure the regular review & update of standard IT processes/procedures

Change Management

  • Support change management activities within the ITS department with close coordination and collaboration with the Change Management Office(CMO), ensuring the proactive identification and management of change activities.
  • Support relevant and timely communications across the ITS department, ensuring the ITS WAT (intranet) page is updated and coordination with the communications team.

Project Management Framework & Methods

  • Ongoing refinement of the ITS project management framework, including maintaining and updating of project management template documents and artefacts.
  • Providing awareness and support to the ITS department and in the effective use of the ITS Project Management framework.

Project Review & Governance

  • Undertake project review meetings with individual project managers, to ensure the project is on track and understand any issues with project delivery, and where necessary provide support through PMO deep dive reviews of a project.
  • Support and coordinate the ITS Project Portfolio review process, through ensuring project information is current and relevant, and effective project review meetings have been carried out.

Compliance, Audits

  • Support the ITS department with responses to audit requests
  • Projects – Ensure projects are delivered in compliance with the IT project management framework, carrying out regular audits to support this.

 

As PMO Methods & Compliance Lead in the IT PMO & Digital Team, you will be working in a central role with great influence in ensuring the control & compliance of projects within the IT department and regular reporting of progress across the IT portfolio of projects.

This is with the possibility to continuously learn and develop your competencies in ensuring effective use of the Project Management Framework (PMF) to reduce project delivery risks. You will get to use your knowledge and experience applying a range of techniques when providing training and awareness to the IT team in use of the framework and general project management principles.

Overall, you have the responsibility of coordinating the management, review and governance of projects across the IT department, ensuring proactive engagement with the change management team and supporting the continuous improvement of relevant methods and processes within the IT department.

 

 

About you:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration or similar
  •  Must hold an industry recognized Project Management Qualification that is in good standing such as Prince 2 or PmP
  • 10+ years of experience with project management principles, processes and tools and experience of delivering & managing projects.
  • 5+ years of experience of working in IT with a broad knowledge of IT technology.
  • Languages: Fluent in English, ability to understand Danish and/or French is a plus
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Collaborative and proactive mindset.
